Broadway Entertainment Association (BEA) consists of small business owners who operate bars and entertainment establishments on and around Lower Broadway. BEA is committed to the preservation and continued development of Lower Broadway. Members are required to have a brick and mortar establishment on or around Lower Broadway and must have a license to sell alcohol. BEA is governed by a five-member board who are elected by the full membership of the association. Individual board members must have an ownership interest in a member establishment or be an officer of a company which owns a member establishment. With this structure, BEA is perfectly designed to be genuine protectors and advocates of the culture of music and entertainment that is unique to Lower Broadway and Nashville.
